Glad you're working again

You will probably be ready to ride when the 03's get here.

Yep he's a fighter all right. Met him last weekend for some chit-chat. He was in his wheelchair still and waiting for his leg. He's really waiting for his 03 12R eagerly.

Wilson, I do not know you, but you fit my statement, "Never tell someone a bad story, because they will always tell you a worse one"!

I had a "Little" situation where I broke my left leg! Had an operation to fix it and in a few months was riding again and feeling good! To make this story short, the hardware got infected (The day of the operation), 7 operations later, dying twice, having 2 inches removed and then regrowing most of it back and walking on crutches for three (3) years, having a tube in my central veinacava coming out through my chest to give myself Vancomycin twice a day, I am here also! I was 55 when all of this started! 59 this month!

Too bad it is "Also" the left leg, there are more ways to brake than shift! Make sure you are strong enough when you start and ride small first! In 1972, I broke my left Femur and had a brace on my leg! Went for a ride on my H-1 500 Kawasaki and got my pant leg hung up on the foot peg and "Fell" over on the bad leg! Lucky I had help to get the bike off of me!

You will be fine, just be patient, it takes a while! How Old are you?

Now it all makes sense! The Youngsters just do not seem to have the "Heart" and throw the towel in! Motorcycles cause a Virus in some humans! If you seriously hurt yourself 3 times and over 50 years old & still ride, you have the virus! You may have the Virus! Younger people may have the virus, but this is the only known test! You da man!! (Never read the posts, but you get my vote! and it is a hard vote to get !

Regrets are the people that don't have the courage to do things. Jealousy is what people feel when they realize that you had the courage to do what they regret not doing. Anyway you look at it Wilson, you and the youngster Vincent are to be admired, but I have no intention of being jealous of you guys!!

Let things happen at your pace and have fun! It will be interesting to see you ride up on your 12 with your new leg and walk into the store, while some over weight couch potato, to lazy to exercise, uses there bogus handicap sticker to park close to the door so they can set in an electric cart and buy more potato chips. We are proud of you man!
