quote: low 9s
This low 9s should be quite near the correct with good launch.
I have '05 12 also. It's stock from the wheelbase and engine (156hp/122Nm from the wheel). Lowered 50mm (about 2") from front and rear. Gearing 16/46. Typical times are with that construction something like 60ft 1,67-1,71s and 9,83-9,93@228-229km/h (~142mph). 9,7 is possible if everything goes perfectly.
For my mind peoples normally run with too long wheelbase. They waste time for slipping. You can made low runs by wheeling, but not by slipping. Also many can't understand how low tire pressures must be. I use quite high pressures (1,5bar) but pressures could be also near 1bar.
These are my experiences from the strip.
