1361 STROKER RELIABILITY

To those with 1361 strokers, how ridable are they for day to day riding. Also how reliable are they? Will I be able to ride it everday. Id like the extra power but I only have one bike and I don't want a dragrace only machine. I want to boost myy 12s power but I want it to retain its reliability.

I had about 2500 mi, multiple top end tests (201 on GPS), and 143 WOT button shift passes on my 1361 when I pulled the crank and put in a 1375 billet crank. The 1361 crank and bearings were in perfect shape.

Street ridable??? YOU BET! lots of fun, long rolling, smoky burnouts are really a gas. Just lean fwd and snap the throttle; WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!

yep, crank is gone!

BUT, in case someone missed it . When the builder pulled the 1361 motor down, he said that the oil pickup screen as almost completely plugged with "small fibers", so I was just lucky to have had the motor done when I did. Could be that the fibers were the remnants of all those clutches?????? who knows, but from now on I'm gonna yank the oil pan every couple of months and check/clean the screen.
