MUZZY BILLET STROKER CRANK Has anyone tried using the stroker crank without the overbore. Muzzys site says it yields 1299cc with the stock bore. I'd like a little more torque and think this may be the way to go? Also what kind of power/torque could be expected? I know the 1270 kit is cheaper than the billet crank but will it give as much or more torque than the stroked crank? DOUG??????

A billet crank is stronger and because it is DESIGNED with the longer stroke, manufactured that way rather than modified through welding, can be built with a longer stroke and maintain the needed strength. It is a part that is offered to facilitate building larger engines when used along with bigger bores. I have not heard of a single 1361 welded crank failure (That's crank failure, not bearing failure). So that would still seem to be the better option for most users.

Hey if you have the loot$$ to get the billet stroker crank may as well add the new billet bigblock and go 1412cc http://www.muzzys.com/ZX-12_87mm/index.html
