Didn't I bring this up First?? Since I am about 300 miles away (as the crow flys), and see the "2nd" Hurricane coming up from South America / Gulf, I have been watching the weather! If I had to Predict right now, I would say that we will have serious rain Friday Night and overcast sky Saturday with a "Damp" course slowly drying by the afternoon! I predict that Sunday will be dry with some clouds and sunshine which will allow the full day to be used! The only thing I am hoping for is that the Friday night rain takes the entire front through and allow the clouds to go away and allow the sun to dry the surface since we will be at the "Outter" belt of the Current Hurricane!

Think I have not paid attention??

As of now, 7:50 Eastern time on Thursday, we are still a go.
The rain has cancelled our Bristol drag races this evening but Maxton is waaaay more important! Hopefully we made a sacrifice to the rain gods for tonight and Laurinburg will be GREAT.
The bikes are ready, all we have to do tomorrow is load them up and head out.
Vincent...Did you get your steering dampner on okay?
Dan

Hey guys if it rains we'll take the jet skis and see what they'll do in the Monster Mile!
If nothing else, we will all get to meet and maybe at least have a good meal together.
I still feel good about the weather, after the rain moves out it should be COOOOL.
2 more days, 2 more days!!!!!

Just finished up some work on the Rag! (Making up number plates and mounting them! Had to sort of give up on the "Muzzy Dampener" deal and just get one! Found that I had to do a "little File work on the Underside of the Spencer top clamp! "About 1/32 of an inch clearance"!) Tomorrow finish some safety wire and mount the lowers and load up!!
