Finaly raced a Busa!!!

That is...I RODE a Busa at Gville this weekend

It took me 6 runs but I got it down to a 9.53!!!

First run...STOO-PED...forgot to turn air shifter on...10.31 @ 137.90mph

2nd run...
60Ft.......1.630
1/8 mile...6.323 @ 116.18mph
1/4 mile...9.719 @ 143.83mph

3rd run
60Ft.......1.622
1/8 mile...6.331 @ 115.83mph
1/4 mile...9.728 @ 144.00mph

4th
60Ft.......1.615
1/8 mile...6.302 @ 116.15mph
1/4 mile...9.694 @ 144.23mph

5th
60Ft.......1.608
1/8 mile...6.278 @ 116.68mph
1/4 mile...9.652 @ 145.11mph

6th
60Ft.......1.589
1/8 mile...6.184 @ 117.89mph
1/4 mile...9.538 @ 145.67mph

Mods are...
Brock Hindle pipe
Air Box Mod
BDE clutch kit with 4 of the 6 springs that came in the kit
1 tooth down on front sprocket
PC3R Mapped at our work to 170HP 102.7 torq.
Spencer Cycle Top Tree...forks lowered about an inch +-strapped
S C 3-hole links on lowest setting
S C Air shifter kit
TigerTail (undertail)...
STOCK WHEELBASE and Rear Tire...

170hp is pretty peppy for a stock motor busa!

Hmmm thats funny, I thought the 99s were the quickest. Must be the SMTW magic!
Witnessed a 1270, 40hp dry shot equipped ZX12 go 5.60s @ 134 and some change. That was on a 1.50 60ft too!
Smoked this turbo Busa.

Oh yea...Kev..the latest story on the Gary/Aja race is that gary blew his motor DURING the race thus giving aja the win.

I wish edwina were around to clear this up :/

I talked to Chris (he built the turbo Busa)...
He says it DID blow...because of tire spin in 1st...not shifting into second...AND...NOT LETTIING OF THROTTLE!!!

Gary supp...won $3500 before he launched a rod...

From 99 to 01...the 99 is supposed to be better (quicker???)
The 02s have a different ECM that has better mapping (acording to Brock Davidson) AND it WILL work with the PC3

Riding partner of mine has either an 00 or 01 'Busa and I smack his bitch up everytime we race.

Busa: Full D&D race system, Powercommander, and racing fuel.

Me: Nikko Racing box.

Smack him by a couple of bike lengths almost every time.
