Anyone with a built motor experience a significant drop in power with time?

I'd guess your ring seal is going south probably due to a bad bore job or maybe some piston and ring material has been melted off with the nitrous. I hope it's something simple though.

Well I tuned my bike on the DJ250 w/sniffer today surprisingly it was not down on power after all! After running the Nutec out of it and putting half-a-tank of regular 93 pump gas in it ran great! It put down 203.6 RWHP on motor with very little tweaking I think there's a couple more in it but we ran out of time. 112 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels and it was making 190rwhp at only 9000 RPM! It's a solid flat curve and I've very pleased. A/F ratio in the 11.8:1 range then leaning out to 13:1. up top so I need to spend more time and make some fuel changes.

At the last minute we made a couple passes using a #34 jet dry NOS with NO TUNING CHANGES it laid down 244.2 letting out early at 10,000RPM and it was still building power. The first three tries the tire just spun on the dyno so we had to strap it tighter and have someone put weight on the back to get the D208 rubber to hook. A/F on the spray was real lean (like I said we didn't make changes to the map yet) starting at 13:1 and shooting up to 13.8:1 across the board that is one reason why we let out early. I think with a custom nitrous map and a #36 pill it should put down 255 with no problem.

I will have the dyno scans posted by Sunday.

It only changed from 13:1 to 13.8:1 when you sprayed?! That is not much change at all considering the change between 11 then going to 13. The more that i hear about the "automatic changes" that our bikes do without pc3 changes the more faith i have in our computers......if the factory ecu can make instant adjustments like that while sitting on the dyno and not having any ramair to work with, then do wow!!!
