What front turn signals do you use/like?
I have decided to find a good replacement for my stalk/stock turn signals.
What have you guys used/seen that look good and aren't quite as obtrusive as the stock setup? I would like to just replace the stock setup and keep the signal in the same location, but find something with smoother lines.

lots have gone with the LP IV's, as did i, but now i really dont like em much. u can barely see them. i'd either go with some shortstalks and the mount kit from Hugh Industried [sp?], or there was a more squarish flush mount that zx23rr used. it was surprisingly visible but almost as flush as the LP IVs.

I'd like a set of Dino turn signals, now those are slick.

I use the small flush mounts sold by Lockhart Phillips on the front and an integrater for the rear turnsignals. In other words my tail light is both my tail light / brake light as well as my turn signals. Regarding Freeks comment about difficult to see.... I have not had any problems with cars and or the law. In fact two of the States finest have complimented me on my bike as they wrote me up for speeding. I have been legally riding motorcycles on the street for 32 years now, and in all that time I can say that I have never had an encounter or accident involving a car that the driver and I did not have eye contact prior to his and or her deciding to cut me off, run me over, hit me etc. Not once. The most over used excuse on the road is I didn't see him. What do expect them to say, he was on a motorcycle and I was in my car so I cut the %^&*)!@#$ guy off!
I have found it to be a consistant fact on the freeway that when I do use a turn signal whether on my car, truck or even my motorcycle the other driver(s) tend to speed up or attempt to avoid being passed. This is not always the case, but it does happen a significant number of times. I have found it amusing to test and prove this theory on a regular basis. This is why I am a firm believer in being an aggresive defensive rider.

I too have the lockhart IV's. I agree that they are not as visable during the day from directly in front but they are ok from an angle to the side. I don't place as much importance to my front signals as to the rear's so I left the stock rears on. The most aerodynamic benefits come from replacing the fronts.
These are Dino's front signals. Unfortunately not an easy bolt on but undoubtably the slickest conversion yet! -ZXtra

Dino's are hella nice!! So where do you get those or are they a custom job?
And if you remove your front turn signals for that conversion, what do you replace the spots where there are no longer stock front signals?

Oh, I like the Dino turn signals, too. Where do you get 'em? Are they made by a board member, or from a vendor?

Thanks Dino. Nice job on those lights. Guess you just fingered it out yourself as opposed to 'buying' something? Whats the source of the orange lens? Did you just cut/bend one to fit in?
btw, frEEk I am guessing that there's a spot here that folks pay to sell/advertise. didn't mean to break the rule, just wondered how much of a hand-job Dino put into this, or is it out of a box.

ddpete3...I have part 'intellectual copyright ownership' of the concept since I discussed the idea with Dino way back when...that being said, I highly suggest that for every $1 you collect from viewing, you must match that fee and donate all proceeds to the Dino Elk Hunt/Beer & Steak Fund...whaaaat?....like you never ate it before??????

Can the gurus tell me whether, with the Lockhart IV's, any mods are needed to the fairing?
I don't wanna drill my fairing... But it looks like they'll just sit right up against the fairing anyway without any fuss.
Thanks.
