OK, now I'm crapping my pants.... Just printed off and read all the pertinent pages of the manual for the valve adjustment and if needed camshaft removal for shim replacement and I am, quite frankly, scared as hell of this job. Can someone please come to Detroit to help???????

Crapping your pants eh???? Man that's just a scary thing to visualize.
I haven't done any shimming, but I did check the clearances and it wasn't too bad. You just have to remove a bunch of crap to get the valve cover off. But once you get everything out of the way it's not so bad. I know it is more involved when you have to pull the cams out and do some shimming, but I think it is withing your grasp. Take your time and triple check all your work. You can do it man. Otherwise I'm gonna get the Chitown Queen up there to do it for you. ____________

OK meat, you said you have like 3 weeks of vacation left right? Well, I think you need to make a trip to the motor city and help me with this. A little motor city action could do you good.

I will e-mail you directions to my house as soon as you give the word brother, you know Michelle would like to see you and you have to meet Allie! And Ted, if I didn't have a 6 mopnth old and just took 5 days last week to go to the Gap I'd be at your doorstep three days from now after that offer.
