After The Nitrous......Finally Back Together...........

Here's my bike now the the N2O is situated. Just need to get the bottle mounted and filled and hit the dyno for some tuning. I left my wet fuel plumbing in in case I want to go back to true wet and then add second stage with the ECT bypass. Cant wait til the track opens.......

My ZX12

My ZX12 Notice my ECT by-pass concealed in the little black box

My ZX12All put back together.

man... you have a lot of clutter in the air box. not trying to be an ass, but i would re do the whole thing. that will hurt the NA performance. and you cut a big hole in it. no ram air....

my setup(holes are sealed with silicone). 1/8 ss lines (upgraded from the poly lines i had in there initially)

Everything is sealed up now. I am on a bit of a budget, just had a baby, and dont have the couple hundred to drop on foggers. If I lose a couple NA horses, I can make them up. I drag for fun.

how were you regulating the fuel(jets) if you were running wet before?

In line regulator to 10psi. Jets are inside the outlets of the solenoids. Im gonna take out the fuel plumbing to open up the box some more. I dont need more than 50hp. I read that 1/8" lines restricted flow but i guess that is not the case. I appreciate any helpful tips. Im only 24 and on limited budget....so I try and come up with alternatives to keep costs down

ok i got ya. doesnt sound/look too efficient at atomizing the fuel. a fogger sprays the nitrous thru the fuel at about 950 psi. fuel coming out of a 3/16 line at 10 psi will look like its taking a leak not spraying a mist of fuel. if the fuel and nitrous lines ended very close it would be a lot better, but not like a fogger or fuel injector for atomization. 50 hp dry should work much better than your current wet system as the fuel injectos atomize the fuel very very well. the poly lines can restrict flow over 80ish hp i think as they compress and the inside diameter gets very small. the stainless steel lines dont. they just crush the brass ferrul instead of crushing the ferrule and line. the inside diameter of a 1/8 ss line is huge compared to normal jets. the muzzy stealth kit uses 1/8 ss lines. i have a nos kit and upgraded it.

It is decieving in the picture, but the nitrous lines come in right over top of the fuel lines to atomize it, and they were very efficient. I am going to play with it a little bit more to tweak it to as good as it can get. Woppi - do you notice any differences in NA power having the solenoid in the box taking up space?
