Here in the NW I can always catch a day or two every month in the winter to hop on the bike and run her. Never had any trouble with the fuel going bad. I do however have concerns about leaving Nutec and some of the other fuels I have been known to run in the tank for long periods of time. They can eat and corrode a lot of the engine and injection parts so I have been told.

My question is what does "Hoping on the bike and run her" Have to do with the fuel going bad (Unless you are able to use up the fuel every other month)??

That is just the point. I burn the fuel in my tank. It doesn't set around all winter.

let me sum it up for ya. dont by the Fitch stuff, use your time and $ more wiseely and drain the fuel when its old then refill with some good 92 octain or better.

I have been using the Fitch stuff for a full riding seeason and have not noticed any improvement in fuel economy or HP as theey claim.

Of course this is all in my opinoin. I have no background in fuels.

I use them. I think mine runs smoother, but I may be clutching at straws here.

One thing that I will say here is, if you use the Fitch, DO NOT use a fuel preservative when you store your bike for the winter. The preservative will coat the Fitch rendering it useless. This comes from the Fitch people themselves. -ZXtra

I just called Fitch today and they say that the "Additive" will not harm or make the Fitch useless, what it will do is make the fuel not as good!!

This isn't one of those huffing or snorting things you read about in the paper is it?
