Lunch with the Pegrams

Larry and his mom and dad stopped by Mike Velasco's shop today, Mike's doing some work on his flat track bikes in prep for the race at Sacramento, and then the race up here at the Tacoma Dome. The Suzuki 400s looked like fun, but that TL1000 motored bike scares me!

Whats funny was a little later in the day we threw my 1361 on the dyno to check the map (power commander is disconnected) and my other partner in the Dyno business decided to make a run on the 12. He nailed in 5th gear she pitched sideways and scared the crap out of him. We offered Larry Pegram (who had laughed at him and called him a pussy) a shot he said #$%^&* noway! Velasco jumped on in his typical fashion did a all six gears run. He is a master at that stuff. Damn thing only made a 196 horses and 111 ftpounds of torque without a power commander.

Worked late tonight helping fabricate race pipes for the TL. The thing looks like something out of rollerball or mad max.
