Interchangeable wiring harness
which year zx12r wiring harness can be used with Y2K model?

i think it may have unique plugs for the ecu. the 00 of dads and my 01 are not compatible. i doubt they would change back to an older design for the later models but i could be wrong

hmmmm so that means only 00 got that burning stator wire connector problem?

Nope, others suffered with it as well. Did they ever fix this completely for any models?

yeah the last one is that i used wires from cbr1000. seems good from the great heat.

That is a recall item, they should fix it for free along with the other recalls:
valve stems, fuel pump, and I forget the other one. I got all 4 recall items
done by dealer at no charge to me!

yep. It's a RECALL item, so the dealerships are REQUIRED to fix any recall.
I think there may be a time limit, but not sure...

yes. Germans on the autobahn @ high speed discovered their valve stem cores were unscrewing themselves at high speed 00' summertime and having flat tires. Wow!
I rode in to dealer, and they had them swapped out in about 30 minutes.
