swing arm weight???
Hey fellas does anyone know how much a stock swingarm (zx12) weighs? thanks

i can weigh mine on a set of bathroom scales if thats accurate enough. its off my bike right now

my scales are only accurate to a pound, so this could be off by a half pound if it rounded. i got 13 pounds. the bearings are in it, and so is the metal sleeve where the dogbones go
Ill weight it when it comes back from Spencer Cycles with the 4-12 over billet weld in extensions if you want to compare. it will be a few weeks though

I was hoping it weighed a lot more. The reason i was asking, is there a guy on 13x forums that has a custom swingarm (braced) for the zx12. He also has some various other odds and ends. I was hoping i could have bought a lighter swingarm to further reduce the weight of my 12. Oh well, I appreciate the help KZScott.

go all out and have a CF one made  if they can make a driveshaft out of CF im sure someone can make a swingarm
