DYNA SHIFT LIGHT
Got it hooked up and doesn't seem to work.
I bought the splicer needed to hook the the coils.
I tied the blk wires off the spliter to each blk/ and different color wires off the coils. Got 12v to the red wire and a good ground. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Forget the coiladapter/splicer and use the coil wire that feeds the tach on the back of the instrument cluster.. thats where my buddy runs his, pull 12v from the the cluster light and ground there as well.

Is DYNA the only brand for shift lights? What others are out there?

Try the Harlan shiftlight. Works well. And yes connect to the signal wire which feeds the tach.

Same here...light didn't work right with the adapter...
Hooked into the Lt-Blue wire at the inst. panel and it works fine...
MSD makes shift lites also but...you need to buy chips to set the RPM...they ain't cheap either...

Since I mounted my box in the tail section, I tapped off the tach wire coming from the ECU and used the tailight wire for the 12v. I ran the shiftlight wire along the harness and it works great, these old eyes like the light a bunch better.

Well guy's I tried tonight to hook green to directly to the light blue
wire going into the tach, and still nothing. Tried it in 2 different spots
and nothing. I called dyna today and he said they don't offer a shift light for the 12 or the busa. So I guess someone is making the splicer up for SCHNITZ where I bought the kit from. I may have a bad part, but what sucks is Schnitz
has poor cust service, and dyna knows nothing about this application. I'm about to say F--- the shift light. I never had one before. Just pisses me off when shit doesn't go 1/2 ass right. $$$$wasted

Well every time I call there's no one there to answer questions.
I think Ryan is the only one. I called at least 5 times and no luck.
Never a return call. Just some Gal that says there are on the way the
some races.

If it flashes when the ign is turned on then it should be ok.Make sure your taping into the right wire behind the dash or there is a proper coil adapter that SHITZ sells.(hya 101 or something like that)

Well I called Schnitz again today, And today I was told that the tech guys was there but was not able to answer tech questions until a certain time of the day. Well guess what? still again no return call. After speaking to dyna direct they told me they didn't have a shift Light for that particular app. The lady at Schnitz refered me to Rick at cycle tech says he works on alot of drag 12's.So I called him (nice Guy)again on my dime, and he had never installed one on a 12. So I then simply figured I have a bad part and since i get no help from them, asked for a credit.I was told that she had to get a return authorization from the OWNER, and he was the races. And since I installed the unit there would be a problem, and restocking fee. I couldn't believe this.
I'm not one usually to bitch, but DAMMMMMMMMMM.
HELL I WANTA RACE TOOOOOOO
