"00"-"01" clutch warranty
If a ext.warranty is purchased for an 01 and the clutch fails without signs of bad abuse, does the ext.warranty cover this?
to me this is the kind of fix that they can say I made the clutch fry?any suggestions
thanks.

Like anything it depends on your dealer. Most will discount it as a *wearable* item. If you have a good relationship with your dealer anything is possible.
I was lucky and had a dealer cover mine. One other dealer I tried to get basic recall parts (wings, etc) was less than helpful. Basically could care less, since I didnt purchase the bike there.
