almost got the 9.6xxx
so today maple grove was stupid full with everyone oiling the track and i got 3 passes. good news is i got the back to basics on my launch consistent. all runs were good for me wise 1.72 or close. all runs were in the mid to low 9.7s. last run was a 9.71 with a 1.73 60 having to shift in the air into second. if i would of warmed the engine up more it stays down in first good with 16/44. when not in the middle(temp guage) it gets violent and i have too lift.good news is i am getting there doing the correct thing all the time. i just have to feed it more in the beginning.i will get there.
sal if you read this post the clutch did well ,all mph was close to 147. afr 13.1. though sept 21 i ran 9.72 with same 60ft when AA was 1250 ft at 13.5 i am not sure of what to make of that but this afr is safer..today was AA 500ft much better air. it was lifting on the 3 to 4 shift.darn thing is a 1.65 which i can get (use to anyway) would of been well into the 9.6s.
