So what is the plan with this? Where do we go from here?

Is there some way to link us to Kawasaki's website or when someone types Kawasaki in a search it comes up Kawasaki clutchs suck?

I am getting tired this topic being our banner so lets do something with it.

The petiton is only open till January. I was hoping to get at least a thousand or more signatures. With less than 200 I feel that Kawasaki will just view us as clutch abusers. I asked earlier in this thread if anyone knew how many 00 and 01s there were so I could get an idea of the percentage. The pamphlets for the ZX12 state that it has a wet clutch. By looking at the photos on easy's site of clutches, it is clearly evident that it runs dry. Come on guys, lets pass the word on to other owners. Thanks Dan.

I think many may not know of the petition. Has anyone gone out & posted this voting location on the other ZX12R sites? Others may be unaware of it...

Hi Guys,
At first I was for this, but after doing 100 Hole shots on my initial clutch, I seem to think it involves some clutch management on the drivers part. I'm hard on the bike BUT take care of it. With the HP of the 12 or Busa, you need to minimize the slippage. It just can't take it. Now a stronger clutch basket is needed for serious racing. There are guys that will never change the clutch in 50,000 miles if driven like a little old lady. This is strange coming from someone also screaming about it in the beginning.
Just my take on it.

Ah... but the rub is what about people who drove it like a little old lady and it started slipping with 1000mi on the clock?

So how many on the board have actually had a premature clutch failure that the dealer did nothing about?

Mines been making noise & acting up (grabbyness, dragging) off and on for over 2 years now. I took it to two different local dealers who both gave me the run around.

KAW Mech: "Oh, I hear the noise but if we pull it apart & find nothing wrong it will be at least 2 maybe 3 hours of labor we will have to charge you, as well as for the gasket." (@ $75 per hour.) The other dealer said something similar. Gee & why did I buy the extended warranty? Grrrr...

Screw it; I have the Muzzys clutch & I'm just waiting until I can afford the basket. Hopefully the stocker will last until then. It drags like a SOB now & I'm running out of adjustment left on both cable ends. Looks ok thru the oil hole (pressure plate location.)
