fire in the hole
i've tried a bunch of different maps, cleaning the plugs between map changes. i rode a little tonight on my 12 and my buddy on his 12 was behind me and i got on it and he told me that everytime i shift fire came out of the pipe(akra full sys. ,bmc, kleen air rem.). well, finally i think i got to where no smoke comes out during the day but seems that fire in the hole at night. kinda humid here tonight. could be normal. i ran with the o2 sensor in the pipe for a little while hooked to a a/f ratio meter and it seemed to run pretty good*12-13-14 range awhile back. just wanted to know what you guys thought. bike runs good now, no stumbling no backfire on dec. clean plugs 93 oc. full syn. oil 1040. idles good, just synced tb's. said it fired on every shift. thanks in advance.

Flames on every shift ???...You must be shifting slow!!!
Usually on decel is when flames happen, when it's tunned correct...

get new plugs.
Cleaning them is a get-by to get it running.
Are you running a baffle?

for my bike anyway when i had it loaded up while on it it would pop when i lifted off the throttle.it ran good while on the throttle but when lifting off it poped.
do you have the kleen installed yet? if you do it is the reason mostlikely.

With a muffler in, I shoot a flame out of my brock megaphone, about 6 inches, every time I shift with the airshifter at full throttle, ........, and when I let out at the finish, I get flames........
Plugs look good, and the bike is very quick for a stock motor......., I leave it.

kleen off rocket, but what nox says is exactly what im getting::  lugs good and runs strong, just a little fire in the hole, thanks guys..always coming through!

no KLEEN here either.........
Mine tosses the flame so hard, I set my foot on fire in Dallas at an NHRA Div 4 event. Burned through the seams on my AGV boots....., swithed to Simpson after that...lol. Now Oakley.
With the muffler in, I get accused of spraying nitrous all the time, because it throws such a huge flame........

Its only a 1lb nitrous bottle.......lol
Its the bottle from the Muzzy system, really only thing left from that system that I still use......
With the Catalyst Racing Composites +12 tail, I needed the bottle where I could turn it on and off easily....., this works great.......
Good point though........, guess when they look at it, they are not smart enough to know you cant spray at 160 to 180 psi.......lol
