what to do to my zx12r
so i have like 3k saved up to put into my bike zx12r. i wanted a turbo but they can get pretty damn expensive.... so im lookin for some ideas for mods for my bike.. my 12 has K&N air filters, power commander 3, 30hp shot of Nitrous, fully muzzys exaust, lowered and streched

i would go 1270 with a carpenter head and 385 252 cams with a dry 50 shot.

I guess you didnt like my suggestions...
The cheapest Carpenter kit is $4,600...
Im sure you can get someone to take your $3000 and hook your motor up for you!!!

What do you use the bike for? Do you race it at the track, just cruise on it, or what?

Then I wouldn't worry too much about giving it more power than it has already. Maybe some custom wheels and/or paint?

muzzy big bore, ecu reflash (rev limit up to 12,300 and +5 ignition advance), heavy duty valve springs (carpenter), titanium retainers, performance valve job, short velocity stacks, lighten/balance crank, and a dynotune

youd be better off picking up a used 14 and keeping the 12 as is.

At 1394cc the APE kit makes your ZX12 nearly 50 cc larger than the a new factory ZX14. This kit consist of 86mm forged pistons with a cylinder block bored and re plated to fit, a 60 mm fully nitrided and race-balanced stroker crankshaft, and Carrillo rods. This kit will provide awesome power and torque increases. Requires customers stock cylinder block and crankshaft with the order.

What about a nice head port, valves, springs and cams? Probably good for about 15 horses.
