Swingarm Swap

Another member has a black swingarm from an '05 ZX-12R that I'm very interested in. Problem is I have an '00 model and I don't know if the later model swingarm will fit the older bike. Does anyone know if the swingarms were interchangeable across all years? Thanks.

I have an '06 swing arm on my '00. No problems swapping, but I would use the dog bones from your '00, otherwise your ride height will drop!

yep,, my A1 is wearing a 05 arm,, gotta use the caps or castle nuts off the 00! straight swap,, might have a chain issue if its stock,, might have to pull the front sprocket,, i just filed a little off the inner area of the frame,, not even an 1/8 inch...
