plate light wiring for dummies! well only this one!
I'm very electrically challenged and I have a 2000 ZX12 with an after market tail on it. (installed by the previous owner) I can see where he has spliced into the stock wires for the AM tail lights however there I cannot find wires for the plate light. So my question to those who own a 2000 is What color are the stock wires for your plate light inside the tail?
The cops here in Richmond In. are doing thier active part in raising money in the way of tickets to riders for every little thing! I thinks it's becuase with gas prices there are many more bikes out this year.

there isnt a seperate plate light on the stock setup. the bottom of the tail light is clear and that lights up the plate. if you have a seperate plate light on your undertail, connect it to the wire that runs your brake lights when its not breaking(running lights)
