Sprocket Changing
2-? 1st - Does the nut on the front sprocket some off to the Counter or just clockwise to the right? I've had it go both ways in the past for different bikes. 2nd - How many foot pounds of torque minimal will it take to get it off ? I'm buying a impact wrench today for it. Already tried the 6 ft cheater bar on a 1/2" bit.

Depends on the Electric Impact! My 25 year old Sears Impact will not but my 2 years old From Harbor Freight does it every time!

My Ridgid electric impact rated 450ft-lbs had trouble turning it the first time. After the first time, easy.
Put the tranny in neutral before you hit it with an impact.

I'm buying mine in the morning and getting the Elec. Dewalt from H.D. that has 345 ft/lbs of torque and I think that should be more than enough. I talked to some of my old buddy's from contracting today and they said that unless your paying over a G for an industrial one on air the dewalt is more than enough ecspecially for elec.. I'm waiting for X-mas for the air compressor but this is the most powerful elec. out there after Rigid did away with there's.

Also there is nothing on there tightened down over 150 ft/lbs of torque. I think the front sprocket nut is suppose to be tightened around 75-90 lbs. To much and you have wear "N" tear. Thus why they have there issue with the ZX14.

+ 1 w/electric impact. No go with 3ft breaker bar. I'm told the breaker bar will work if you jump on it

1st tried the 6 ft. cheater bar - no luck 2nd just the elec impact - no luck
Finaly I use some WD-40, heated up the nut with the torch to get it expanded and then it came off with the elec. 1-hit.

The Reason this will work is you crack the Loctite which is the real problem not the amount of tirque applied when tightened!
