Rickey's 2002-3 shootout bike used a stock crank. Operating at 425 hp consistently, the only thing that damaged a crank was the very occasional lean out and melted piston. Steve RIce's ZX-11 Funny ran 500 hp on a stock ZX-11 crank pretty much all season. Stock Kawasaki cranks are incredibly strong.
