how to get MORE power
hey i have a 2000 zx12r with a fully muzzy exaust , a power commander3, K&N filter, lowered and streched. i lookin to get some more power outta her any ideas let me kno

Karl might know a few tricks to get a couple more hp out of it :P
just do a search on this site, im sure 95% of what you want to know has allready been discussed  big bore, stroker, nitrous, turbo, porting, you name it. read read read! you just found one of the best places for tech info

Ditch the K&N's for a BMC Race to start.Throw 2.5 - 4 deg. timing at it and have aGOOD map made.
SEAL your Ram Air system. The bike WILL be faster above 120 mph.

Over the winter I'm doing a 1287 kit on mine with some Orient Express cams, BMC filters (or shaved screens), Muzzy system, PCIII and -1 up front. While the engine's apart, I need to find someone who can do a decent port job on the head. Nothing super-duper clean but cleaner than stock - like a deburring job. If you know someone let me know. Thanks.

take out the base gasket or high com gasket
cam spocket 105/105 for me
vacum mod/kleen air
advancer 2.5/4
stacks muzzys/bear
full system

you could do a deburring job if i can. i did a clean up job on my head and dads. lots of pics, check out my threads in the drag bike zone
