muzzy full system?
i have heard that muzzys full system give off a lot of heat at the headers and may melt some of your plastic(2002 zx21r)..is this true?...i'm trying to choose between buying a full muzzys or full hindle system. want to order tomorrow.

I wouldnt think it would melt anything with the proper application.
Header wrap or plastic insulation(used on dirt bikes) will help protect plastics if clearance is an issue.
From what I saw of DaveinDaytonas Muzzy pipe, the 00-01 pipe had better clearance on the 02s. Anyway the part thats suseptable to melting has disappeared on the 02s.

It really is a matter of preference, I have the fully muzzy system on my 02 and am completely satisfied. The sound or should I say "BARK" is incredible. As far as plastic being melted, i had to add some washers to the lower fairing to keep the plastic off the pipe as it bends up, other than that no problems. Will be installing the pc3r this weekend.

I just check Muzzys website and they have seperate listings of exhuast systems for the '02. Good luck in your search.

I have a Muzzys full system on a 2002 and no melting.

i'm leaning towards muzzys...just because of R & D...i don't think hindle has a good map for their pipe yet...i know muzzy does.

muzzy full system
I have 02 zx12 and a full Muzzy system and it fit perfect
but one thing is the bike run like a Rocket. 60ft 1.60, 1.62, 1.64 and 114, 115 MPH in 1/8 mile. If you want
speed buy a Muzzy, If you want to win buy a Muzzy.
