someone elses settings will only get you close....every shock is a little different and so is every set of forks...set the sag, base line compression and rebound dampenings....then start turning things...make bold adjustments at first so you can see the changes....if it gets better turn it more, if it gets worse, turn it back.....

What year is your 12??
The 00' Has "Top Out" springs in the forks. A good sag (preload with rider aboard) setting is 38-40mm. This will put you in the middle of the LONG travel range. @235, you WILL need new front fork springs. If your suspension retailer gives you too stiff of spring, the top out springs will become compressed and will not work....be careful!
Rear spring sag works best at 30-35mm.
Set the sag with ALL comp. and rebound taken out. Then add rebound first on a stocker untill the "up / down" movement becomes even. Add compression only if the ride is too soft or bottoming out somewhere while riding.
Do you want the bike to steer "a bit" quicker?!? Add NO MORE than 6mm of shim on top of rear shock clevis. Any more than that or dropping the forks in the tripples will cause instability.
