oil pump ?
Has anyone ever used silicone on the oil pump to hold the pin in place?Several times during assembly, the pin would drop out and I would have to start all over again.Hence the idea of putting in a drop of silicone and let it dry for a couple of hours before assembly.Thoughts?

That's not a bad idea Doug and probably works great if the bike was on a lift.I have to use just stands to work on my bike and have to put the pump in blind. The rotor likes to walk on me or at least slide back on the shaft.Hey but its worth a shot anyways. If it does not work,it's only a minute to pull it out and reposition the parts again.
