blown fuse
While taking the bike out for a ride, I got stuck because the bike would not start.I am running a 24VDC starting system on it.I ended up getting a generator and charging the batteries just to get home.I could not get a reading off of the inner battery and when disassembled, found the fuse for the second time blown. This is the remote wiring for charging the battery.i did not see anywhere that the insulation was broken to cause a short.Any ideas that may cause the fuse to blow?
On a side note the inner battery needed a charge so I have another issue also.

What the hell is a bioard?I use the battery tender on the auxilary battery and that went low.I haven't checked out whether the main battery is getting a proper charge because it needed it once the fuse was replaced.
I'm a little baffled because now I am getting 12 vdc at the negative terminal with the key off on the aux battery.0 vdc at the positive terminal.Somehow I got reverse polarity.I have to wait until my brother comes over in a few days to see whats up.It wasn't fun trying to pop start the bike with my hip still healing.

You have the pos terminal basicly going to ground ,the starter. When you use the frame for ground the neg terminal is the opposite side of THAT battery. IF you add enough resistance I'll bet the starter will spin. No worry , it's working right.

Thanks for straightening me out.I'll have to really watch the connector for charging the battery as the ground is bare on the connector. This was what prompted me to check because it snapped when it touched the engine.I use that connector to plug in my nitrous heater, wonder if I have it backwards now.And I still have to check out the charging system.
