dunlop qualifiers maybe 1000 miles
well holy crap just looked at my back tire almost smooth in the middle. haha well I put these on about two months ago and ive been just testing the bike off and on . ( plus the weather is shit here ) I only bought it last fall and had no idea how hard it is on back tires. id say maybe 600 miles on them at the moment. I must say the bike handles good but ive never seen any thing this hard on a tire. I guess im going to have to slow down or some thing. all thats from is high speed driving and pulling away hard. any one suggest a little longer lasting tire that I wont go in the wood with ? ive always used bridgestone battle axes and Maxxis super max.

Try Michelin or Pirelli. They will last a lot longer!

I think you may have the Road Race Qualifier not the Street Qualifier because Kenny Roberts could not eat the Street tire in 1000 miles easy riding they will go 5 to 6,000 miles and really enjoying them they usually go about 3,000 miles!

I talked with the guy i bought the bike from and he said he could get around 5000 km on them and he rode hard. I bought them from amazon.com i posted way back about a scale on them. I was just wondering if that was normal or I was thinking they where some kinda of reject or what ever tires because I got them for about 350 shipping and all. Thats about half price from what the dealer wants. well ill order the same back tires again to match the front from a different source. If its still the same ill switch brands.
ill look into it tonite and see what tire this is Im pretty sure its the street qualifier

for a street ridden bike I would recomment that Pilot Powers, and you can get them for about 220-250 a set to your door from online sources, like ebay.
I get really good mileage out of the pilot powers even riding it really hard they got about 2500 miles out of a rear.....
I have no expierence with the Qualifiers at all, but I know you cant go wrong with the Powers...

hell I get DOT race tires for less than $400 a set, and slicks are less than $500 a set.....might be cheaper to buy from downhere and have them shipped up......
