not happy - just crashed my 12 - spares required
had my zx12r for four years and just crashed the blas~ted thing after fitting a new tyre. hadn't even done 50 meters just going around a corner barely blipped the throttle and back span out. anyway was hoping someone might might be able to help or point me in the right direction for the following:
clutch case/cover
right mirror
right hand fairing - red
as for the year and model it's a 2000 a1
any help or advice (other then how to run tyres in!) much appreciated
cheers,
Stan

Sorry to hear that buddy. I have a left side red 2000 panel (you don't need it, I know), but hey, if you ever need to work some sort of trade of some sort with a Righty and I have the lefty, well....it sounded like a good idea when I started typing.

New "TYRES" can be dangerous! If mine look slippery, I take a rag and clean them with Brake clean to get the Junk off!

Just a quick something that I thought I'd add to the post. Checked the tyre on Sunday and doesn't look like it was fitted properly by the tyre company. On the left side of the tyre there's a section about 20cm long the hasn't 'popped' out properly so its sitting about 1cm away from the beading/edge that it should be resting against. As a result when the trye is spinning on the paddock stand can clearly see that it's throwing the tyre off balance as it rotates. It was the right side of the tyre that gave way as I went around a right corner so I think the chances are that this did not directly cause the accident however if I didn't come off when I did then I think there's a high chance that it would have thrown me off balance when going round a left corner. I'll take this up with the garage and see what they say.

Stan, sent you an e-mail about the mirror, do you still want it, or are you waiting until the garage get back to you?
Cheers

Hi John, thanks very much for the offer but have been offered both and since the other one is also slightly scratched I'll see if I can sort this out. If not I'll come back to you and take you up on your original offer if you still have it.
Hope that is ok.
Thanks again,
Stan

Hi all - just a quick update. Spoke to the garage this morning and although not admitting responsibility for the accident, as a good will gesture they have agreed to meet the cost of the repairs so assuming they stick to their word hopefully will no longer need repair the bike myself. I'll try to upload a few photos of the tyre at some statge.
Thanks to all those who have offered advice and parts for sale.
