seat cover question
OK, so after momnths off riding with the cover off, I am trying to put the seat cover back on.
After superglueing the tab I broke while trying to put it on this morning, I successfully put it back together. Thing is, seat won't lock now.
I have 2 small washers and one large one for each screw.
Where do they go?
What am I doing wrong?

What year model? For the '00, KHI actually has a "adjustment kit" that contained a pair of fairly thick washers. Each washer was to be placed between the tab and the seat, then the screw (or was it a bolt?) went through the tab, then the washer and into the seat.
Since it was a while before the came out with this "fix", I just used a small nut between the tab and the seat, that had a big enough I.D. for the screw to easily go through without threading to it.

got it. nano hit it right. guess cause my g/f was on the back, the composition of the seat itself changed, so I had to put some washers on the bracket that has the u that locks into the locking mechanism.
