Clutch baskets
Can you run B model clutch baskets in A models and vise vresa??

Yes, BUT, Muzzy will only put a billet basket on a 2002 and up........
I just had to swap gears on my basket, and they said they no longer do the early models. Luckily the one I bought from Buddy was a 2002 gear set.
you can run either in either bike. I run a backwards set up, 2002 gear/clutch, on a 2001 crank, in a 2002 set of cases.....

02-06 baskets are the same??what else are needed for 02 baskets to bolt on to 00?

yes. the 06 is actually a leftover 05 though....
if you have an 00 just buy the muzzy billet basket kit, and put it on the gear core youself. its the cheapest option. did it on dads bike.

i read up older posts 02+ have better basket.
so i thought of getting a used 02+ basket along with my muzzys clutch kit will be
sweet for my street bike(i dont dragrace)

just be careful about stack height with the muzzy kit
