I have to be sitting on the bike, but thats cause I am at 68 inches........, it gains a ton of slack when the bike squats..........

Have someone sit on the bike that is near your weight. Then you get down and adjust it.

Sit on it. And, if it's stretched (the bike I mean), bounce on it to make sure it doesn't get tighter when it squats. Hard to have it too loose.

With no weight on the bike you need to be able to put a ruller along side the chain in the meddle between the 2 sprockets and raise the chain 1 inch. That is 1 inch from either the top or bottom of the chain using the SAME part to measure. As the suspension goes through its arc, the chain will get a little tighter until the Front sprocket center, the Swingarm Bolt and rear Axle are all in 1 line that is straight after that point the chain starts to get loose again. As someone here said, the longer the arm the more slack you need
