what to expect when taking ur motorcycle to the dealership???
well ill cut the b.s and get right down to it
i have a 2000 zx12r i absolutely love 2 death **literally**
has a few problems that i know of like
rear brakes barely work
rear left turn signal brake light dont work **after market tail**
needs rear foot pegs ** i can do that shit myself when i get back home from iraq**
couple other things i cant really think of off the tp of my head but basically i really like would want a real professional look over the bike and while im gone work on the areas it needs fixed whether it be with after market upgrades or just plain jane replacement parts
i also would like the motor dyno'ed to see how the motor is i brought it from another guy locally that claimed it has a 3mm piston kit on it but im not so sure about that basically to sum it all up i wanna know what to expect being though i have all these LITTLE problems
what should i ask or what should i look for what should i expect can somebody please answer me without bashing

----We can absolutely do that for you no problem. We have 2 12s in the shop right now including my own 2000. We just had a 1427cc zx12 serviced here last week too.

---Fingers crossed, we should have a dyno in our shop in 2 weeks (would be about 1 week but we're leaving for Daytona next week). Shouldn't be too difficult in determining whether your ZX12 has a piston kit in it or not. Should feel between my 1199 and the 1427 ;-)

----No bashing, but in all honesty some dealerships charge quite a bit yet simultaneously don't have the experience needed to work some bikes, especially ZX12s. When you have time, you can go over the PM I'll send you with our contact info and can talk to Rick personally. B-more to our shop in Sterling VA isn't TOO if you're up for it.

I took my 2000 zx12 to the dealership for service and they change the oil and they over filled the oil by two and a half quarts. I looked over the bike when I got it home and noticed the problem. Hopefully the ride home didn't hurt the motor. What do you think????
