i went from stock 2.56 to a 17 up front and 46 stock rear 2.71,, liked it but found myself reaching for another gear on the highway that wasnt there!,, so i ordered a 45T rear steath which is a aluminum hub with steel tooth ring,, the 17/45 is gonna be exactly what i want,,it is a 2.65 ratio which is up two thirds verus stock compared to just a 17 down in front..
hope i didnt loose you anywhere,, oh yea i get to keep my stock chain length..
and it will give me a little more wheel base,, every little bit helps when launching..

ya it was set up for drag racing was doing 144 on the quarter and that wasnt quite toped out im figuring the she will do 160 radar with 16 50 so guessing 170 with 16 46 thats good enough for me plus will help with the pull away and the odd wheelie

I run 16/51, with a lower first gear......, love it.

With the lower first, I have to have more ECU rev to get to the 1/4, but with stock first gear, it works great., and will work for 64 inch too......, if you have a good clutch tune up.....he he
