Mr turbo 12r sighted today
I spotted a Mr Turbo ZX12R on the street (actually at the local dyno/hp shootout) today...
http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/photos/hpshootout
At the dyno shootout today, although he wouldn't run it on the dyno because he was having "tuning problems" but he did say it was making approximately 200rwhp.
I sure hope it makes a helluva lot more than that!!!!!

He is local and from the up close look I got of the wheels attached to that wheelie bar it has never been used. He did zip up and down the street a couple times but nobody was impressed... especially the turbo hayabusa making 252rwhp on the dyno while we were there! My bike made 221 today so I was happy with that.
Man I wish someone would prove a 12R turbo. We've been waiting almost 3 years now!!!

Where's the exhaust? Straight out the bottom? I bet she's got more on tap.

Amazing, guy spends $4k or more on a turbo, probably another $400 on the wheelie bars but fails to install braided front brake lines. Amazing.
And I would hope that MrTurslow kit would come with more than a dump pipe.

Well this turbo bandit (mr turbo) made 150 hp on the dyno. This particular dyno at super sunday in danbury CT isnt very generous. The guy claimed it "usually" makes 161 hp.

Of course Turbo Horsepower is determined on how big your balls and wallet are. Dial the boost up get big numbers and blow it up!
The brake lines drive home the reality that in 99% of the cases out there people spend a million dollars on horsepower and little if anything on brakes and suspension.
By the looks of the exhaust outlet the bike probably makes more decibels then horsepower!

Hey, what can you say. Give a monkey a football, and if he breaks it, time to build a better football.

Damn Y2k, if a turbo bandit is only making 150hp, Ive got him covered with my GPz Turbo! (on a DJ250 with the bike kinda lean!)

In the top pic you can see the slanted end of the exhaust right under the front right peg.

turbo 12r
I'm sorry guys but that turbo looks kak compared to the quality of work Dynospeed Developments did on my MC Express 12R. Everything fits perfectly...which actually makes it difficult to fit.
At just 6psi, it was making a tad under 240 and 150lb/ft of torque. It goes up to 16psi!
Note: the new big turbo the serious guys are running on Busas is the NLR - KKK turbo. The 12R made more hp at this psi than the big KKK, but more importantly the power was progressive and smooth...which means it all gets to the tarmac. I thought I'd be scared of it but it's a big pussy cat on the road....until you want it not to be.
Then, you learn a new expression...."HOOOOLLLYYYYFFFFFF!"
Cant wait to dial in the extra 70 or so horses.
Anyone in doubt about the turbo 12...go for it! Nothing will ever be the same again.
