anyone else,, have know how on these?

Hi, I'm new to this board. Here is my 2 cents!

I have the 35w Bi-Xeon 6000k kit on my 12, they were simply plug-in-and-play. No issues with the battery, no relay fitted. The only problem was locating the ballasts (under the ram air covers)

I would suggest that you are wasting your time with the 12000k lights, with the halogen high beam, as the higher the K rating, the lower the light output. 4300k are the brightest (yellowy white), and 12000k (Purple) are about as bright as halogen, 6000k (white with a hint of blue) are a good compromise and look the best IMHO.

At least with the Bi-Xeon, you get HID on high and low beam. You can now get HID's with 2 caputles per side, but you have the problem of finding the space for 4 ballasts.

Hope you get something sorted soon.

Hey Kev,, where did you hide your Ballasts? i hooked up one light and had the opposite side bulb unpluged and the HID is on with the low beam switch on,, does that make sense and is it because there is no bulb pluged into the harness on the otherside?
