That dry weight isn't close to real!! All of the stock 12's we have weighed weigh in around 560 with gas. 5.3 gallons of gas only weighs about 32 lbs. So much for truth in advertising!!

less than 4 qts of oil, less say 6 lbs for oil
32 oz. of fork fluid so that is 3 lbs
about 1 gallon of coolant so thats 7 lbs
and then 32 lbs for gas puts you at about 58 pounds in fluids at the most!

Mine as it sits is 488# with 2 galons of fuel ready to ride.
We wont go into "with rider" weights!!! 
But 1 hp is = to 7 lbs.

There was little straight away catching up to be done. I surprised myself by keeping up with Dino this year. Maybe I should take a riding class and learn exactly what to do so I can just pass him next year.

hehe, dont bet on it doug. last year i kept up w him too, but u could see that he was just takin it easy so as to not leave me in the dust. cource i dont actually know how fast u ride so that may not be the case w u.
and dino, i rather doubt ur that heavy! heaviest i'v ever been is 175, and u'r shorter than me and look skinnier too! u oughta drag ur bike. u might give cowboy a run fer the money! ...actually no. that guy cant even anchor a child's helium balloon.

Mine is now at 497# with 6.5 gallons (oversized carbon tank)of gas in it. And yes 7 pounds equals a horsepower. So what are you trying to say, Z you can gain another 20 horsepower?? I have the answer an it is in the Kawasaki 2000cc factory kit!!
I think Dino is like most fat guys. He lies about his weight!! except he's not fat and he's adding weight instead subtracting!!

I'M NOT LYING!!!...165 yesterday,159 today...(forgot to eat)...been up to 178. You see, not too many people get to see where a good portion of that weight is stashed
