UNSPRUNG WEIGHT?
theres a guy that has a set of wheel spacers (rear) for my 12,, claims they are good for the bike and mentioned UNSPRUNG WEIGHT,, what is he refering to,, and do these thingys work,, what exactly do they do or what are they for?

"Unsprung weight" Would be any weight that was beyond the fork spring or pivot bolt. Removing weight from this area helps performance in all areas within reason.

the stock spacers are allready alluminum. if they were steel, then it would make a bit of a difference, so the new spacers would have to weight about nothing to make a diff. but if you are racing, every tiny bit counts....
taking off rotating weight is where it really adds up. like rims, rotors ect (removing 1 pound of rotating weight is equal to taking off 7-8 pounds of static weight) the expensive stuff i dont have yet lol
a cheap way to get rid of some weight is to drill your rotors. I did mine the same as NOX's. knocked off a few hundred grams, but its equal to about 5 pounds....so you can see how rims that are several pounds lighter REALLY help
