CARBON FIBER
Well about as much as is commercially feasible. I have lots of mix n match type bodywork so maybe an all carbon theme would be nice?
Already have the solo tail and wheels...but the mix-match hodge podge bodywork is kinda cramping my style, haha.
Yoyodyne makes the bodywork for it. Anyone know if they make a race upper carbon of if its street only with the headlights holes alread cut out??
Also my gas cap & triple could use those "faux" carbon cheapy cheezy crap stickers since they ain't exactly mint The gas cap alone has countless hard chinbar-hard-on-the-tank-at-full-tuck-on-nos scuffs/wear.
Seen the ashtray, front fender & hugger on fleabay...maybe a nice present to myself ... while I'm at it I may as well sell out and get a carbon wrapped muffler too
Thoughts....ideas?

My infamous UFO ZX-11 had one of a kind all carbon bodywork. Remember that Vincent?What a PIA. On a road racer, maybe worth the weight loss. But on an LSR, I'd not waste the money or time. If you're into the look and leave it visible under clear coat, it will turn yellow, then brown from the UV. If you paint it, well then no one will know how cool you really are......

DM, thanks for your insight. I am rethinking it. I am doing it for the weight savings, but there is an asthetic appeal to it too of course. Fiberglass sounds like it would be a better bang for the buck!
