BMC Race Filters?

are they worth the money and what would be a good price for a pair used? what can i expect to get out of them (anything) or does it just help the bike breath?
will the race version hurt if im not running a PC3,, its a stock bike with a pipe?

Are they worth the money? Most would say yes. Good price used? I haven't seen them go for less than $50 used. They will allow your motor to "breathe" better than a stock filter. The race version won't "hurt" anything. You may run a little leaner, but it won't make your bike blow up or anything. Some run a 20 shot of nitrous with no pc3 to add fuel...and even that much leaning out doesn't seem to blow up the motor. No worries on throwing in the BMC....but most do it with a full exhaust and a way to add fuel.

Power, among other things is air + the right amount of fuel. Since you don't KNOW what your present Air/fuel ratio is, you don't know if just adding the pipe and filter will make it better. But since the exhaust is so restrictive, it always improves performance/HP over stock.
