Lowering my 12
I just got a 2002 ZX-12Rthinking about extending it btu no sure if a want to lower it or even if i have to? Could someone help me please.

Lowering my 12
Just everyday riding but maybe some drag/street racing. I like to take off hard and i don't care to much for wheelies so i was going to take it out about 3"

3" kind of low for the street. Watch out for them old school speed bumps.

No I'm going to take my swing arm out 3". And I'm trying to see if i have to lower it.

extented without lowering will look tall like a dirt bike.
some adjustments are usually required.

if you extend it without lowering, it will actually lift the bike due to the angle of the swingarm, you must lower it a bit after extending it just to get back down to stock height

THE MAX You can raise the Fotk Tubes in front is 1.5 inches! The tubes are tapered! Plus for safety, I would put a hose clamp around both tubes under the top and Bottom Tripple clamp

you can also get internal lowering blocks for the forks. dont lower the front more than the back
