zx12 tire size
I picked up a mint 01 zx12. Now I know the stock tire size is a 200, and some people go to a 190. Well, it's got a 180 on it!
Is anybody going this small on a zx12? How does it work?

its supposed to handle better, i have heard tell of a few guys running a 180, dont panic

180 rear tires are actually very common on ZX-12R's. I had a 180mm tire on my 12r for years and loved the handling gains. Made the 12r turn in like a 9r.

I have a 180 on mine, 2 years now. Its great! Gone over 200 mph on it in 5 states.

nothing wrong with the 180...personally I ran a 190/55 on the back of mine, just because I liked the way it made the bike handle...
