Im not sure how people are going to take this but i'll say it like I see it and you people can be the judge..
I was told that this was the site to go to if I needed advise for performance mods to my ZX12. People here suposedly have "been there and done that" and are great for advise..
First off, I've been riding/racing motorcycles since 12yrs old. Thats 27yrs now and I do believe I know a thing or 2 about them in general. Sometimes I log on to this site and am blown away at the level of knowledge some people possess or claim to....some real die hard kawi fans, which is great!!
HOWEVER!!!!! there has been times when I would post a question and these people who have way too much time on their hands and are way to anxious to give out "valuable" advise are the first ones to reply... People I joined for the love of the bike and the wealth of info available here.. However please keep in mind that if you don't know for certain,,, the answer to a question that some poor soul is looking for ...DON"T DO THEM ANY FAVORS!!! by giving bad advise. Some of these upgrades include big money and a lot of time, let alone screwing with someones pride and joy(bike)... I've herd som many ideas that just doesn't make sense..
After posting a couple of questions, I had to say in the ad "plz only reply if you know for certain" There are some really knowledgeable people here with great advise, please let them speak share their experience. You may think your helping but in fact you can be steering people in the wrong direction.. Thanks
