pciii usb

i have a pciii usb, but i have decided to run without it. i have a full system akra and im using my stock filters. the bike is stock except full sytem. i dont have any hesitation whatsoever, im in florida(dont know if the thick air has something to do with it) but it seems to run great without it. my question is/ is it a bad idea to run without the pc? i also would like to run my bmc street filters without the pc/ so far no problems without and i dont mind the response of the bike, but is it safe? (oh) i also have the kleen air mod but not the crank mod just the standard! thanks!

I dont think it is bad, but you will get more out of your bike with it, more power, better gas milage. and probably a couple of other things I am sure other people have noticed...

i have the "crank case vent mod" on my bike. the crankcase now vents to the kleen air system, and the 2 hoses that went to the airbox are gone, along with the smog pump. the holes left in the airbox are plugged. your setup is pretty much like block off plates correct?
can kinda see it here

this mod has been around for decades but at idle I have seen more than a few bikes with oil lights on.
remember the Kleen air system only works with high vacuum (low rpm's)
at high Rpm's the system doesn't suck squart

careful running without the pc. ive seen bikes with aftermarket exhaust run great, but when they are thrown on a dyno with an a/f sensor, it turns out they are running too lean. i would see if you can find a local shop to do a baseline pull to see how you're running

what would you say is too lean? All the local shops around here are loco, they want 350 bucks for a custom tune and im not sure they even know what theyre doing! i might just go back to vincent hills map/ atleast i wont be running leeeeean.
