Looking for suggestions for a tank bra on a 2002 ZX-12R
What are everyone's experiences? Is there a brand/manufacturer that stands out above the rest?
TIA

I like the Targa tank bra. It's a half bra and it fits great. I will post a pick if you want. I think I paid about $35.00 to my door.

Hey post a pic please. And do you have to worry about waxing it all the time underneath to protect the paint?

Sorry this took so long...I just checked this post again. Well here is the pic of the tank bra. No problems so far with the paint. It fits snug, no moving around to wear on the paint.

tank bras in my opinion definitely do not flatter most bikes, however on the occasion that im in shorts i cant stand my sweaty legs against the tank, are there any tank bras that are actually nice without being overly cheezy?

The Targa is nice. I had one. I sold it because I didn't use it. I didn't use it because it is such a gigantic pain in the ass to r&r on this bike, and I won't wash it with a bra on.

Tankslapper, I've had mine on for months and the protection from my jacket hitting the tank cover is great. I had the owner of Tankslapper personally apply mine and was able to make some adjustments to the original design that offered even more tank protection. Hey its $15 what have you got to loose.

Do any fit better, or do they start to hug the tank better as they age? Blue '02 looks pretty rough on website...
Could live with black if it fit better and wasnt too tough to remove.. Just my 2 cents... Thoughts?

DO NOT BUY THE KAWASAKI TANK COVER
Do not buy the turd Kawasaki bra. It does not fit the tank cover. It's very very close (extremely tight) but won't -quite- go on. I scratched the tank cover trying to get it on...aaarrrrrgghhh! I even took the plastic tank cover off & tried fitting it that way.
I donno if I developed a mental block cuz I was getting mad or what...I just couldn't get it on. After 30 minutes of fighting it I got so furious (install choice cuss words & bear roar here), I threw it (hard) into the eves of the garage, & promptly forgot about it.
A year later, it's now too late to return it. Anyone want it send me a pre-paid freight shipping box & it's yours...
