1/6 throttle mod?
1/6 throttle mod? Is there one available for our bikes. I was just reading a post on gixxer.com that says there going to the yamaha dealer and ordering the part for roughly 12.00 and adding to there gsxr's. any thoughts???

Yeah.
Why?
For $4 I can hook you up with an on off switch marked Idle / WOT 
On serious note, forgive my ignorance but why would you want to do that? For drag racing? I'm guessing its a mechanical part. A smaller diameter pulley for the TPS/throttle body.
Of course if it was me I would do it electronically so I could turn it off for street riding and turn it on when I have the urge to flip the bike over on top of myself.

yep for drag racing and roll on type racing. Apparently the 1/6 throttle thing a ma jig comes stock on 04 and up r1's.
