EK zvx2 chain and a new 17 and 49,, for $110.00 shipped from ebay,, hope i did OK..
is the bikes low end gonna be ridiculous,, and will they work if i use them with a 115 link chain? thanx guys

Lol 1 tooth on the rear isn't going to make much difference. Less than going to that 17 tooth you have on the front..

+1, hardly noticable.

Assuming the same amount of links in the chain for 17/48 vs 17/49, the 49 will want to wheelie a little more because of the stronger gearing and the slightly shorter wheelbase.

Enjoy! I will try 16/46 one of these days...in between 17/48 & 17/49....WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was running 17/51 at the strip this yr. you will wheelie a lot if you have a stock arm LOL. I was 7 over, lowered and strapped, and i was pulling the front up a few inches in first and second gear!

yea,, its not just +1,,, its a 17 up front and then +1 in the back,, just wondering if the bike is gonna be ridiculous versus the 17 up front and the stock sprocket on back right now,, anyone use EK chains,, are they adequate? i have the ZVX2,, and one last thing how well do the aluminum rear sprockets hold up,, and if not so good,, does anyone make a steel aftermarket rear?
