I hate those things! I don't know how to create them etc. so I ignore them! But it is cute! And of course a macho guy like yourself needs to be cute.

Gives the guys at Wiseco a call and they will be able to take care of all of your needs at a fraction of the cost for the pistons. These are not Muzzys piston, I think they are made by JE. They have drop in with 13.5 comp and overbores here's some pn ck132(ob) ck133(di) rings are included. All you need is to have your cyl bored(local shop) and then send the cyl off to Mill Tech for plating. I hope this helps you

You are right, the pistons in the Muzzy kit are JE pistons built to their (Muzzy's) specs.

Had to send the cylinder block back, it was a few thousands off. They'll rebore and hone it, then the rebuild starts! This kinda puts the kabosh on making the Aug 30 endurance race in Spokane. Which means that the bike will make it's debut in Formula Ultra and Open Superbike

Decided that it would be a good idea to clean up the frame before taking it to the MVR. Got in with a degreaser down around the swingarm area. Man, what a mess! All that white grease from chains was packed in there. Used a knife to scrape it all out, then pressurewashed it all. With the swingarm off, the bike is pretty easy to just pick up and roll around where-ever I want to go with it. Tempted to pull the forks and triple tree, since I have new bearings for the steering head.

Shouldn't need bearings unless you have been abusive. My self I get 3 or 4 thousand miles out of the steering head bearings.

Last of the swingarm bearings came in today, so the bike's finally sitting on two wheels, after about a month dangling from a strap like a side of beef. ____________

Black Powdercoat Swingarm Pics:
In case there are any questions, those are muzzy spools, and yes, I have the rear brake capilper held close to the swingarm with a zip tie. It won't stay, but if you are changing the rear wheel by yourself and don't want to hassle with one more thing while trying to hold a wheel *and* a bearing in place while pushing the axle through with the other hand, it's a easy trick.

Yep! Zhooligan and I talked about another technique: Get a can of the spray on bedliner material, tape off the swingarm from overspray, and just spray the parts you want. Would be cheap and tough.
